Hosted by Safe Pathways, Wellness in the Wi-Fi Era is an engaging, youth-centered workshop focused on digital wellness and the impact of social media on mental health. Taking place on December 8 at 1715 E 13th Street, Brooklyn, this free session invites young people ages 10–24 to explore how apps like Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat influence mood, attention, and emotional well-being.
Participants will learn the science behind screen-time habits, discuss the importance of digital boundaries, and reflect on how to build healthier online routines. The workshop also includes a hands-on creative activity where youth design their own mental wellness apps — plus free pizza to keep the energy high and the environment welcoming.
This supportive space empowers young people to strengthen their relationship with technology, practice mindful digital habits, and connect with peers who care about mental health and balance.
