Hosted by Edenas Children, the Hackathon for Make-With-Data: Mapping Mental Health is an immersive, hands-on event designed to explore mental health challenges through data science and mapping. Taking place on Wednesday, March 25 at Pier 57 (25 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10011), this in-person hackathon invites participants to dive deep into real-world data and collaborative problem-solving.

Participants will examine patterns in mental health data, exploring questions such as where depression rates are highest, how access to care varies by community, and how conditions like anxiety, ADHD, and schizophrenia intersect with socioeconomic and environmental factors. Through guided activities aligned with scientific methods, attendees will develop mapping and data analysis skills while addressing pressing community-based issues.

Open to all experience levels, beginners are encouraged to attend. Participants should bring their own laptops, with devices available upon request. Donations support program materials and curriculum development.
