Hosted by the New York City Children’s Center (NYCCC), the 8th Children’s Mental Health Symposium Outreach Event is an in-person community event focused on raising awareness and expanding access to mental health resources for children and families. Taking place on Friday, May 15 at the Brooklyn Children’s Center (1819 Bergen Street, Brooklyn, NY 11233), this event is part of NYCCC’s annual Children’s Mental Health Symposium series.

Centered around this year’s theme, “From Fatigue to Focus: Meeting the Moment,” the event brings together experts, educators, families, and community members to explore solutions that support pediatric mental health. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about available services, connect with providers, and engage with NYCCC programs designed to support children and adolescents.

In addition to educational resources, the day includes interactive activities, giveaways, and family-friendly programming, creating a welcoming environment for all ages. Walk-ins are welcome, making this an accessible and engaging event for the entire community.
