Presented by the Morehouse NYC Alumni Association, The Reclamation Project is a transformative mental health experience created to center, uplift, and support Black men. Taking place on Thursday, September 10 at Artfullwalls Fine Art Gallery in Harlem, this in-person gathering is held in observance of World Suicide Prevention Day and aligns with the global call to change the narrative on suicide.
The event creates a brave and affirming space for Black men to reclaim their stories, prioritize emotional wellness, and engage in meaningful dialogue around vulnerability, identity, and resilience. Attendees can expect guided conversations, storytelling, grounding practices, interactive wellness experiences, and opportunities to connect with brothers, allies, and mental health advocates.
By breaking stigma and encouraging honest conversations, The Reclamation Project supports a movement toward healing, collective care, and culturally responsive mental health resources. Together, participants are invited to reclaim their narratives, their wellness, and their futures.
